Our program allows seafarers to link select devices with our platform. Progress from health apps can also be migrated to our platform to better monitor one’s health status.

The WellAtSea program is built through the collaboration of physicians, psychologists, and health experts to ensure that our approach remains evidence-based, relevant, and effective.

We provide our crew with a comprehensive, user-friendly workbook (both available as digital and physical) containing all the worksheets and helpful information on health and wellness.

At WellAtSea, we only employ the best practices in managing all aspects of the project—from monitoring timelines to meeting deadlines.

Fitness Plans are a great way for us to facilitate the crew’s physical wellness journey. Guided by doctors, nutritionists, physical trainers, and other physical health professionals, we offer various Fitness Plans that cater to different goals (weight loss, strengthening, cardio, etc).

Course videos are created to enhance your overall wellness knowledge. It can be accessed at your own pace and time. Check out the COURSES tab in the platform to see the wide-range of short courses we have.

WellAtSea believes in good practices can be imbibed when there are strong community ties. We commit to fostering supportive, judgement-free, and safe communities with our fleets.

What’s a good challenge without rewards? WellAtSea encourages our clients to incentivize good practices by making rewards a part of the wellness program. With the client’s discretion, the WellAtSea team facilitates in making exciting rewards available to the crew.

Your wellness journey starts with the first step. Our Orientation program for crew and management serve as the first step into your WellAtSea journey. This is the time where we introduce the WellAtSea program & platform to you.

WellAtSea uses an array of evidence-based techniques and methods. Surveys are a scientific method in collecting data to gain information and insights to specific topics. From program satisfaction surveys to mental health inventories, WellAtSea hosts a variety of surveys relevant to a seafarer’s wellness journey.

WellAtSea values transparency and accountability. Monthly Reports are a way to provide our clients with the progress that their fleets are making in the program. It’s a comprehensive overview of the wins, challenges, and next steps we can make for the following month.

WellAtSea believes in data-driven practices. With the addition of Open-source Mental Health Inventories (MHIs), seafarers are able to understand their state of wellbeing. Collated scores of these MHIs can provide a general overview of the mental state of a vessel.

• Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS): The FSS is a method of evaluating the impact of fatigue on you. The FSS is a short questionnaire that requires you to rate your level of fatigue.
• General Anxiety Disorder-7 Scale (GAD-7): The GAD-7 is a tool used to check indications of anxiety. Usually considering one’s recent couple of weeks, results may suggest that one may have mild to severe anxiety.
• Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9): The PHQ-9 is a screening tool for any indications of depression with a person. This may also be taken to monitor any changes in their signs and symptoms.
• The World Health Organisation- Five Well-Being Index (WHO-5): The WHO-5 is a short self-reported measure of current mental wellbeing.
